She completed her schooling at Snowtown Area School before moving to Adelaide to reside at St. Marks College while studying a Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of South Australia. She returned to Lochiel in 2009 to begin working as a podiatrist covering the Lower North region and later establishing the public podiatry service on the Yorke Peninsula.

In 2015 Bonnie moved to Balaklava to marry and begin a family with her husband, Lachy. They have three children together, Eadie, Vincent, and Marni. Both Bonnie and Lachy were born into sporting families, and spend much of their spare time with the kids playing or watching sports. Bonnie also enjoys spending time in her garden and weekends with family and friends enjoying the tastes of the Clare Valley!
Bonnie is an experienced podiatrist who has spent the last 15+ years working predominantly with the high risk foot in the public setting across community health, hospital and other multi-disciplinary team settings. As a rural generalist podiatrist, she has a comprehensive skill-set and a sound knowledge working across all aspects of podiatry, including the high-risk foot, biomechanics, orthotics, structural podiatry, pain and sports injury management, dry needling, prolotherapy, neuro-prolotherapy, tool assisted massage, paediatric podiatry and toenail surgeries. She's also able to offer basic foot care, including management of corns, callus, warts, and problematic or hard to reach nails.
Her keen interest and participation in sport has led her to a passion in sports injury and all types of foot, ankle and lower limb pain, and with her additional credentials is able to offer alternate therapies to compliment other well accepted therapies in podiatry practice.
