They studied together at university, forming a long-standing friendship and professional bond. Their shared dedication to rural health and community care makes them a trusted team, committed to helping clients stay active, pain-free, and moving well.

Bonnie Nicholls

Bonnie has a deep connection to Clare and the surrounding region, having grown up on a sheep and cropping farm in Lochiel SA. After completing her Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of South Australia, she returned to the region in 2009 to work as a rural podiatrist in community health, later establishing the public podiatry service on the Yorke Peninsula, and in 2022 she opened the doors of Sole Wellness Podiatry.

With over 15 years of experience, Bonnie is a highly skilled rural generalist podiatrist, offering care across all aspects of podiatry, including sports injuries, musculoskeletal pathologies, shockwave therapy, orthotics, dry needling, prolotherapy and toenail surgery.

Her passion for sports and active lifestyles informs her expertise in treating foot, ankle, and lower limb pain, using both traditional and adjunct therapies to help clients move comfortably and confidently.

When she’s not in the clinic, Bonnie enjoys family life with her husband and three kids, gardening, sports, and enjoying the incredible food and wine in the Clare Valley.

Abbe Weckert

Abbe is an experienced podiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality foot care in a rural setting.

Joining the team in 2025, she has over 16 years of experience having worked across the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula. Some may even remember her from her time at AC Podiatry in Clare!

Living on her family farm in the Mid North with her husband, Tom, and three children, Abbe is actively involved in the local community. In 2025, she took on a club trainer role for her local footy + netball club, BSR.

A keen runner herself, she understands the importance of foot health in staying active and brings that perspective into her care.

Abbe is committed to helping her clients stay active and pain-free, and her genuine, down-to-earth approach is backed by years of hands-on experience and ongoing professional development, supporting long-term health through preventative care that enhances mobility and quality of life.
